TWISTED T110 TTD STATION WAGON MANUAL – STORNOWAY GREY

The ultimate in super-sleek family transport and country persuits, this Twisted T110 oozes cool. With seating for 5 and a boot-build hospitality suite and gun storage it is the perfect vehicle to take out into the countryside and entertain. Based on a delivery mileage 110 station wagon registered after production ended in 2016, it is the perfect opportunity to beat the wait and get a ready to go, phenomenally well equipped T110.

As you would expect from any Twisted vehicle we have started from the ground up. The chassis has been specially coated to increase its lifespan and the handling has been dramatically improved with a full progressive suspension system giving a more controlled and predictable feel whilst delivering a supremely engaging drive. Alongside this, our 18” classic wheel finished in satin black with BF Goodrich tyre combination provides both incredible on and off-road control but also enhances the styling in a subtle and non audacious way. Retaining its original 2.2l diesel engine, we have given it more power and torque taking it from around 120bhp to 170bhp; the power delivery is much smoother and you have the confidence to overtake when required. Stopping power has also been enhanced with our Twisted by Alcon front 6 pot brakes and 4 pot rears making the Defender more predictable even under the heaviest braking.

Following a full body off colour change to Stornoway grey, the exterior has been enhanced with our usual attention and benefits from LED lighting with additional driving lights in both the front bumper and mounted on the underside of the roofrack, giving superb visibility even on the darkest of country roads. All of the exterior fixings have been replaced with stainless and our satin black stage one front end means the styling is timeless. The rear looks purposeful with its full width step bumper, swing away wheel carrier, colour coded crossmember and of course the all important Twisted Yorkshire plaques.

Moving inside the Defender it has been fully stripped, our unrivalled soundproofing installed and recarpeted to provide a level of refinement usually unheard of in a Defender. On top of this every surface has been covered in a hand finished duo tone leather and alcantara trim.  Our double DIN head unit conversion allows modern technologies such as Apple CarPlay, satellite navigation, DAB radio and reversing camera meaning your favourite driving music is only a touch away. The loadspace really is the crowning glory and boasts a leather trimmed hospitality suite along with gun and cartridge storage along with a high line coat rack to keep things out of harms way. The window surrounds and door card have also been beautifully trimmed in matching leather to complete the look.
