The iconic Scarab AVS 38 – the boat that defined an era of power and performance – is returning, reimagined through the eyes of Twisted Marine.

A Twisted-commissioned restomod with no compromises, this project embodies everything we stand for: obsessive attention to detail, engineering integrity, and performance with purpose. From design and development to the final sea trial, every stage of this rebirth is being handled by our in-house team in Lymington, where we build our Scorpion RIBs – the best of British craftsmanship and performance.

We have imported an original Scarab AVS 38 hull from Ohio, and modernising every aspect to meet contemporary standards of safety, reliability and finish — without losing the attitude that made the Scarab a legend. Think Miami Vice performance with modern-day dependability.

The vessel will undergo a full Post Construction Assessment to meet current RCD compliance, and will be fitted with twin Volvo Penta 6.2L 430hp petrol engines, offering effortless punch and an unmistakable soundtrack.

This is more than a boat. It’s the reawakening of an icon, built for those who want to relive the golden age of powerboating — with today’s refinement and reliability.
